MCLEOD GANJ, India, 3 August 2007 — An elderly Tibetan woman participating in a candle light vigil to support and show her solidarity to Ronggay A'drak, a 52-year-old Tibetan nomad from Lithang, who on Wednesday (1 August) shouted: "The Dalai Lama should be allowed to return to Tibet", "Release the Panchen Lama", "Tibet wants Independence" during a function to commemorate the 80th founding anniversary of the People's Liberation Army and the annual horse race festival.
